Guitar

Taylor Sims grew up in the flatlands of West Texas but has called Colorado home for the last 5 years. He is a Rebel Records recording artist playing guitar in the nationally acclaimed bluegrass band Spring Creek. This band was the first band ever to win both of the prestigious Planet Bluegrass band competitions at Rockygrass and Telluride in the same year.

Taylor has a commercial music degree with an emphasis in guitar from South Plains College in Leveland, Texas where he studied under Alan Munde, Joe Carr and Rock and Roll Hall of Famer, John Hartin. He has taught all ages and levels of people on the Front Range for the last 3 years and is versed in country, bluegrass and folk guitar styles.
